Community Outreach
Primary PhysicianCare and Wellness Coalition America sponsor or participate in numerous community events throughout the year that give us an opportunity to reach different populations with our wellness message. We also assist hospitals in rolling out their own community outreach programs—branded under their own names and logos—utilizing many of the programs and services outlined below and elsewhere on this website. Through these partnerships, we are able to provide employees throughout the region with health education, health risk assessments, screenings, access to online health records, and more, equipping them to make informed choices for leading healthier lives.
Here is just a sampling of our community outreach activities to date:
For Businesses and Community Groups
Health and Wellness Summits. These informative events are held throughout the year for company executives who are charged with making decisions about corporate wellness initiatives and disease management programs for their employees.
Health Fairs. Wellness Coalition America organizes and facilitates On-site corporate health fairs, which include free medical testing, screening and health risk assessments. Employees and their families also have a chance to attend mini-workshops, play games, win prizes, and gather information from health providers and vendors.
Talk-and-Take Seminars. The WCA team organizes interactive talks with health professionals, where employees can become educated on a variety of timely health topics and lifestyle issues. The seminars are held On-site at convenient times for employees, such as before and after work, during lunch and break times.
