Wellness Consulting
Wellness Coalition America
Comprehensive Planning. Wellness Coalition America provides consulting services for all stages of your corporate wellness program. We are dedicated to empowering members to lead healthier lives.
Phase One: Consultation and Assessment
Expert Evaluation. The first phase includes an evaluation of your company’s current health and wellness culture based on available claims data and meetings with your benefits and HR departments to learn about existing and planned health initiatives. In this phase, we ask your employees to complete the following surveys:
- Health Knowledge Assessment: Objectively evaluates an employee’s understanding of preventive health, nutrition, fitness, and healthcare consumption. This helps us to determine areas where wellness education is needed.
- Lifestyle Questionnaire: Analyzes each worker’s knowledge, attitude and behavior regarding factors that impact his or her overall well being. The primary goal is to increase self-awareness and to encourage employees to take responsibility for improving and maintaining their health.
- Employee Interest Survey: Identifies the needs and interests of all employees. This one-page questionnaire helps us to design and to tailor a corporate wellness program suitable for each company’s workforce.
When all the data is gathered, reviewed, and evaluated, we present recommendations for implementing wellness and prevention initiatives as well as various employee incentive options to increase participation and effectiveness.
Phase Two: Implementation
Strategic Motivation. The success of a Corporate Wellness program hinges on the investment of the employees. Promotions, incentives and education programs raise awareness and empower employees to change negative health behaviors. Wellness Coalition America assists by:
- Creating and distributing announcements that promote the initiation of your wellness program, including e-blasts, payroll stuffers, posters, and postcards mailed to employees’ homes.
- Designating and training an in-house wellness advocate (or team of advocates) to champion initiatives and to provide feedback from employees while facilitating ongoing program improvements.
- Establishing incentives that employees value such as access to company resources, gifts and certificates donated by local restaurants and retailers, prize giveaways, etc.
- Producing and distributing information to educate and to motivate your employees to achieve their wellness goals. This includes our FREE Wellness Subscriptions and access to our online Wellness Journal.
- Planning and facilitating programs that are customized to meet your employees’ needs. Click here for a list of programs.
Phase Three: Review and Reporting
Adjusting to Change. By scheduling regular assessments and reviews, we adapt your corporate wellness program to changes within your company and to address specific requests from your employees. In addition to providing you with information on employee participation, progress and feedback, we deliver the following HIPAA-compliant reports:
- Health Risk Assessment: Summarizes results of individual HRAs and screenings—including demographics; high and moderate-risk test results; chronic conditions like cancer, diabetes, asthma and allergies; family history and lifestyle factors—without identifying specific individuals.
- DM Identification Report: Provides an overview of the number of high risk employees, including co-morbidities, data sources and primary conditions.
